Janaia received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alberta in 2021 and was called to the bar in June 2022. While studying law, Janaia was involved with the Student Legal Services Family and Civil Projects. She also co-coordinated the Faculty of Law’s U School Program. As a Research Assistant at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, Janaia co-authored an insolvency magazine publication.
Janaia practices in the areas of Wills & Estates, Adult Guardianship, Real Estate and Family Law. Her compassionate nature allows her to understand her client’s needs and provide support throughout the legal process.
Janaia is invested in our communities, volunteering with the Zebra Child Protection Centre and DirectHer Network. Outside of her professional life, Janaia enjoys spending time at her family cabin and doing yoga.
