Erin obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta in 2005 and worked for several years in policy for the Government of Alberta and the University of Alberta. In 2011, she decided she had waited long enough and started pursuing her dream of becoming a lawyer. She obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Alberta in 2014 and hasn’t looked back since. Prior to joining Barr Picard Law, Erin articled and practiced with Kirwin LLP, working primarily in the area of civil litigation. In addition to her family law practice, Erin continues to practice in the area of general civil litigation.
Outside of the profession Erin enjoys traveling, camping and cooking, and spending time with her friends and family (especially if there are board games involved). She has also volunteered her time in support of community organizations including The United Way and The Christmas Bureau.
