A former President of the Alberta Trial Lawyers’ Association and former managing partner of a mid-sized Edmonton law firm with over three decades of experience in litigation and advocacy. Recently trained as a Mediator at a Harvard Law School Executive Education Course. His litigation practice focuses on business litigation, including cases involving business and investment fraud, shareholder and partnership disputes and contract and tort claims. In addition to his trial work, he acts as counsel in civil appeals and as counsel to professionals involved in regulatory and disciplinary procedures.
He served as Managing Partner at his former firm for 15 years during which time he led the development of the firm’s business and marketing strategy and advised and mentored firm lawyers in the development of their individual strategic practice plans and marketing.
